TDN –  Radcliffe Buying Spree Includes $1M Orb Colt

Fasig Tipton – Hip 186

The dame of the $1,000,000 Orb Colt is Flashy American by Flashy Bull, who sired the 2017 Canadian Derby winner, Chief Know it All and who stems from that superlative thoroughbred icon, Holy Bull, out of the Quiet American mare Inn Between.

As a broodmare sire, Quiet American is associated with 83 black-type winners, of which 33 are graded/group winners. He’s been represented by six black-type stakes winners so far this year (2016). Among his best are champion and leading sire Bernardini , also standing at Darley, and Horse of the Year Saint Liam. As a broodmare sire, his runners have earned more than $95 million.

Inn Between’s 2017 yearling is a bay filly by Gayego selling as Hip 68 in the 2017 CTHS Alberta Sale.
