Sal says that all of the scribes who are second guessing Falcon’s play calling need to remember that the grey hoodie casts some sort of magical spell over the playing field and lady luck. If the Falcons would have kicked the field goal to go up 31 – 20 somehow the Patriots would have found a way to come back and score 2 touchdowns the first with a 2 point convert and still won the game 35 -31.

Sal’s reminded of a joke

A conductor was having a lot of trouble with a drummer.
He constantly gave this guy personal attention and much advice, but his performance simply didn’t improve.
Finally, before the whole orchestra, he took a critical jab at the drummer, “When a musician just can’t handle his instrument and doesn’t improve when given help, they take away the instrument, give him two sticks, and make him a drummer, which must be why you play the drums.”
A stage whisper was heard from the percussion section, “And if he can’t handle even that, they take away one of his sticks and make him a conductor.”

One Response to “Sal’s 2017 Holy Bull Weekend Review”

  1. HRA FAILS TO POST 2017 RACE CALENDAR/PURSES, ACCOUNTABILITY OR LACK OF RESPECT TO INDUSTRY, AS THE POWERS TO BE KEEP COLLECTING THEM FAT CHEQUES

CENTURY DOWNS announces short 6 week meet for thoroughbreds, but at what cost to the horse racing participants in terms of shipping, available help, housing, social economic.

NORTHLANDS flip/flopping on live horse racing even caught the independent auditors will their racing pants down when GRANT THORNTON tabled under GROWING CONCERN ( dec 31/2015 financial statement) page 5 i quote. “Management is presently of the opinion that sufficient working capital will be obtained from future cash flows to meet the organization’s liabilities and commitments as they become payable”. SURPRISE SURPRISE they couldn’t meet September 15/2016 $2 million interest payment on their $48 million debt and went begging to city council, i hope the HBPA monitors their purse split!!!

NORTHLANDS has a demand operating facility of $20 million, which no $$$ funds had been advanced up to Dec 31/2015, with the bank holding as collateral a FIRST priority security interest on all present and future property of the organization. I wonder what the city tax payers think, holding a $48 million debt payable as 2nd creditor, no response from city council with my nickel concerns put to them!!!

TC loses 50-48 to ZERNON in a tight vote for OBRIEN AWARD OF HORSEMANSHIP , with no mention from HRA, ASHA with travis/ashley gone east $900k/$300k of 2016 purses will be redistributed in 2017.

NICKELBACK goes on a summer tour, meaning that the FINAL FINAL CANADIAN DERBY concert band could be down to plain economics $$$ , look for TOMMY HUNTER or BOB STUPAC as replacements.
