ATTENTION HORSEMEN!
Unfortunately we have to cancel Sunday, May 16’s race card.
We received notice late today that AHS has informed us of last minute protocol in regards to our COVID-19 requirements. We do not have time before Sunday’s post time to become compliant with these requests. As soon as we have more information we will share with our members.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Canadian Racing Accountability Partners have conducted a forensics investigation into the embarrassing cancellation of opening weekend thoroughbred races.
AHS statement to CTV Lethbridge states professional sports organizations that have received an exemption provided protocols are strictly followed. Information about 72 hr testing is available online, and holybull has provided this for the 12 concerned horsemen.
HRA Clark Kent has been emailed, but since there has been no clarification for confusion and 72 hrs has passed, the following conclusion has been derived. On hiatus with no email service, Marcomm is tied up with new governance model and can’t provide a valid reason or he is stuck in a phone booth awaiting Undertaker or a Lois Lane rescue. Silence is golden, but not when 90k is involved, and transparency is non-existent, hopefully Orr will provide a wake up call to HRA since they will not be able to stick handle out of this mess.
Ruling in favour of AHS. Silence and defense of additional protocols added is invalid, since it’s in black and white. PCR testing protocol states for participants that can’t maintain 6 ft distance, what about pony people?
Will the HBPA be proceeding with a claim of foul against HRA under rule 66g section 2c, engaging in conduct that is prejudicial to the best interests of horse racing.
